About the DCE

Hon. Samuel Somuah is a seasoned public servant and local government administrator who currently serves as the District Chief Executive (DCE) of the Sekyere Central District Assembly. He was appointed by the President of the Republic of Ghana and subsequently approved by the General Assembly in accordance with the Local Governance Act.

He provides political leadership and strategic direction for the Assembly, overseeing the coordination of development planning, fiscal management, and the implementation of government policies and programmes at the district level. His work focuses on improving service delivery, promoting inclusive development, and strengthening collaboration between the Assembly, traditional authorities, civil society, and development partners.

Hon. Samuel Somuah is known for his commitment to accountability, grassroots participation, and socio-economic development, with particular interest in infrastructure development, local economic growth, youth empowerment, and social services. Through his leadership, the Sekyere Central District Assembly continues to pursue sustainable development and improved living standards for its residents.
