DCE HON. SOMUAH VISITS AKYEASE-DIDA-AMANGOASE METHODIST BASIC SCHOOL

The district chief executive for the people of Sekyere Central District assembly, Honorable Samuel Somuah, paid a courtesy visit to the Akyease-Dida-Amangoase Methodist Basic School on January 21, 2026.
This visit was part of his ongoing efforts to engage with all institutions under the assembly's jurisdiction.
During his visit, Hon Somuah met with the teaching staff and commended them for their hard work.
He encouraged them to persevere despite challenges from the community, especially parents who may interfere with their children's education.
In a classroom session with the Basic 9 students, Hon Somuah urged the pupils to study diligently to achieve their future goals.
He emphasized the importance of education in shaping their future and encouraged them to make the most of their time at school.
The teaching staff, represented by Mr. Owusu Bempa, expressed their gratitude to Hon Somuah for his visit and support.
They requested the DCE to engage with the Sub-Chiefs and the local community to garner further support for the school's development.
Hon Somuah inspected the school's library and computer laboratory, which were built by the Diamention Abundant Life Ministry of the USA through Mr. Adu Mensah and his family.
The fully furnished facilities boast state-of-the-art equipment, including over twenty computer sets and tablets.
Impressed by the computer laboratory, Hon Somuah described it as the best in the district.
He encouraged parents and students to utilize the facility for their educational benefit.
He also emphasized the importance of safeguarding the equipment for the school's continued progress.
Hon Somuah expressed his gratitude to the Adu Mensah Family and the Diamention Abundant Life Ministry for their generous contributions to the school.
He highlighted the importance of community support in ensuring the success of educational initiatives.
