DISTRICT COMMISSIONING OF COMPLETED EDUCATIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS

The District Chief Executive, Hon. Samuel Somuah, alongside a delegation of District Officials and Department Heads, today commissioned two completed educational infrastructure projects; a 3-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities for the Jeduako Methodist JHS, a project initiated in 2016 and a 20-seater water closet boys toilet facility for the Beposo Ghana Muslim Mission SHS which begun in 2024.

In his remarks, the DCE emphasized the district’s commitment to completing stalled legacy projects, noting the allocation of specific funds for this purpose. He highlighted the importance of continuity in governance to ensure such projects are finalized before new ones are undertaken.

The DCE urged the beneficiary schools and communities to adopt a strong maintenance culture to preserve the facilities.

Community leaders and stakeholders welcomed the developments, expressing hope for continued infrastructure improvements in the District.
