The presentation aims to equip them with the requisite technical skills necessary for a successful entrepreneurial journey.
Hon. Samuel Somuah, District Chief Executive and the Special Guest of Honour for the occasion, underscored the importance of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and entrepreneurship in modern development.
He advised trainees to take full advantage of the opportunity provided and called on trainers to offer their best professional tutelage to their interns, ensuring that apprentices acquire high-level technical skills to enhance their future entrepreneurial prospects.
Hon. Somuah further indicated that the initiative would be reinforced through regular outreach visits to monitor training progress and urged all beneficiaries to make good use of the tools received.
Concluding his remarks, he encouraged other applicants who were not selected in this batch not to despair, noting that they remain eligible for the next phase of the programme.
