Each unit of the facility includes a toilet and bathroom, a kitchen, a bedroom, and a porch.
In his address, Hon. Somuah expressed his joy at the official handover of the project, which had commenced in 2024. He indicated that the facility would significantly enhance health service delivery by providing comfortable accommodation for health officers at the Kwamang Health Centre.
The District Director of Health Services, Madam Susanna Nkrumah, thanked the Assembly for its continued efforts in contributing to the district’s healthcare delivery system. She assured stakeholders that the facility would be properly maintained to ensure its lasting impact.
The Omanhene, Nana Debrah Bediako Boateng II, also expressed gratitude to the Assembly for the gesture. He further expressed hope that other critical infrastructure and essential services would be improved, which he noted would soon facilitate the upgrade of the facility to a polyclinic status.
He assured the management of the health centre that the renovation of the old staff quarters would be completed soon to provide adequate accommodation for health officers at the facility.
