OFFICIAL UPDATE ON THE 2026 BECE & CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO ALL GRADUATES

Ahead of the final paper for most candidates across the district in the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), the District Chief Executive, Hon. Samuel Somuah, visited the Atonsu Methodist Basic School examination centre on Thursday, 7th May 2026 to engage with the candidates and offer words of encouragement as they approached the conclusion of their examinations.

During his interaction, Hon. Somuah urged the candidates to maintain good conduct, remain confident, and strictly observe all examination protocols. He further advised them to uphold responsible behaviour even as they await the release of their results and the placement process for admission into senior high schools.

A total of 1,234 candidates from the Sekyere Central District sat for the 2026 BECE, spread across six (6) designated examination centres within the district.

In a show of support, the Hon. DCE donated assorted beverages to the District Education Directorate for onward distribution to all candidates across the various centres.
